Windows 10: How to transfer Windows 10 from refurb PC's HDD to current SSD?

Could a couple of gurus advise me on the easiest way to accomplish the following?


Current status:

Refurb PC, purchased a year ago
SSD with Windows 7 Home 32-bit, programs and data, moved from previous computer into refurb PC at time of purchase, and in use since

HDD that came with refurb PC, unused except for pre-installed, never-activated Windows 10 Pro installation


Desired outcome:
Windows 10 moved to and activated on current SSD to replace Windows 7, preserving data and as many program installations as possible


Notes:
I have no installation media for Windows 10, just the pre-installed / unactivated version on the HDD that came with the refurb
No disc space conflicts on HDD vs. SSD

External backup dock and HDD available, if needed

Upgraded Windows Transfer from HDD to SSD

My windows was upgraded from 8 to 10 on my laptop few years back. I was trying to get the HDD replaced with SSD. During the copy process, the technician said windows cannot be moved to SSD as it is an upgraded version from 8 to 10.

Kindly guide if there is a possibility to copy the windows to SSD ? If so, please suggest the steps.

 

How to transfer files from SSD to HDD?

I am currently using Acer Swift 3 Windows 10. This laptop has two storages which are SSD and HDD. Every time I download or transfer any files from my pen drives, the files will be saved in SSD. I do not know how to save in HDD. I want to save in HDD because
it has larger spaces compared to SSD. How to transfer my current files in SSD to HDD and how to make HDD as my default storage? Please help me solve this. Thank you.
