    How to Trim Video on Windows 11?


    I am trying to trim video on Windows 11 computer, but I am struggling to find the right tools to do so. I have a longer video file that contains a few minutes of footage that I want to cut out, but I don't know how to do it without using an external application. I have searched through the built-in video editing features in Windows 11, but I can't seem to find a way to trim the video. I have also looked for third-party video editors, but I want to avoid downloading more software if I can help it. Can anyone guide me through the process of trimming video on Windows 11?

    Lost the ability to trim videos in Windows 11

    • What is the build and version of Windows that you’re using? To check, type
      winver in the Search box, select the resulting command and send us a screenshot of the information window.
    • What is the name of the application used when capturing videos?
    • Is it happening to all the videos that you captured?
    • What video player are you using to watch this video file?

    How to Trim Video on Windows 11?

    Upgraded to windows 11. Now I can't trim my videos. The application crashes. Is there any update for a patch?

    I've always used the trim feature on my videos, and it has worked perfectly. I upgraded to Windows 11 Wednesday night and now when I try to trim a video it will let me cut left to right but when I try to cut from right to left, it shuts down. Any suggestions would be fantastic.
