windows xp installation and dual core am

could someone please list the steps they follow to install windows with a dual core processor and windows xp service pack to. I'm reletively new to amd dual core and i feel i'm missing a step. All help will be appreciated. thanx

 

Troubleshooting Driver install Vista

Hi all, I have a Netgear wireless USB adapter WG111v3. It has stopped working with my Windows Vista64 PC, it is detected but the driver won't install properly and the light on the device does'nt light up. It works fine on my other machine with Windows XP.

It's not the device but the pc. It stopped working once before (another time) on the Vista machine and I fixed it by using system restore. This time though I don't have a restore point far enough back.

I've tried uninstalling/reinstalling from cd and from updated firmware download, the correct steps. I've also tried updating the driver in device manager directly from driver folder.

The light on the device should always light up immediately whenever first plugging in, not so now. Any insight much appreciated!

 

Epson Printer Driver - XP driver installed on 10 - device not showing as printer

I inherited an Epson Stylus Pro9600(~2003) and would like to get it working for a local non-profit.

• I downloaded the last driver available from the epson site. It was for Windows XP (64-bit)

Epson Stylus Pro 9600 - UltraChrome Ink | Support | Epson US

• Ran setup in "compatibility" mode for running the older driver and it said the driver was installed correctly.
• Try to print and the new printer is not available to print from.
• Checking in the control panel>hardware> "Devices and Printers" the Epson (showing as 'usb2.0 printer') is in the "unspecified Devices" section rather than the "printers" one.

Any help or suggestions would be appreciated.
