    Windows 10 Tweaks

Pressing “Windows+Pause Break” (it’s up there next to scroll lock) opens the “System” Window.

Windows 10: In the new version of Windows, Explorer has a section called Quick Access. This includes your frequent folders and recent files. Explorer defaults to opening this page when you open a new window. If you’d rather open the usual This PC, with links to your drives and library folders, follow these steps:

    • Open a new Explorer window.
    • Click View in the ribbon.
    • Click Options.
    • Under General, next to “Open File Explorer to:” choose “This PC.”
    • Click OK

How to turn off auto expand in Windows 10

I try to use excel and edge browser side by side a lot. Need to get information from the internet as I build my worksheet. However, each time I try to move one application to one side and when I get near the edge of the screen, the application would automatically
expand to full screen. I have to try like 10 times before I can somehow get it to not expand. I would like to turn off this auto expand feature. There was a way to do it under the mouse control in the control panel in Win8. But I do not see this same box
in win10. Effectively I want to use the snap feature in desktop mode and have 2 applications side by side but the auto expand feature is making it very frustrating.
