Windows 10: How to turn off bitlocker when you cant access it anymore?

On the night of 11-08-2024 windows once again pushed out an update that caused bitlocker to active again....However, this time the problems dont resolve....I fill in the correct bitlocker code, but nothing works.Not a restart, not trying to remove updates, not trying to load up a backup file.....Is trying to overwrite my windows with a linux OS the only option to continue using this device, of can I somehow resolve this? If I have to do a clean install of windows I highly doubt it's worth it do put windows on it again with how windows has been making their service worse year after year, with

Turn of Bitlocker

I have an external USB drive encrypted with Bit locker

Was able to access it just fine with the password

Choose the “turn off BitLocker” option

It went through the steps of decrypting

The drive disappeared from the file manager when it returned it was still locked and the password I used prior no longer works from the command line. It says I have the wrong password

If I choose "Unlock Drive" from windows OS I get "The BitLocker Encryption on This Drive isn't Compatible with Your Version of Windows try a newer version"

• I have tried on three machines and still no luck

We suggest doing the following steps again to resolve the issue. To complete the procedure, make sure that you have the following information:

• You must be able to provide administrative credentials.
• The drive must be BitLocker-protected.

To suspend BitLocker Drive Encryption on an operating system drive, please follow the steps below:

• Click Start, click Control Panel, click
  System and Security, and then click BitLocker Drive Encryption.
• Click Suspend Protection for the operating system drive.
• A message is displayed, informing you that your data will not be protected while BitLocker is suspended and asking if you want to suspend BitLocker Drive Encryption.
  
• Click Yes to continue and suspend BitLocker on the drive.
