Windows 10: How To Turn Off Hourly Clock Chimes

I have searched for an hour for this and can't find it. Why is it so hard to find? Why is it enabled by default??HOW DO I TURN IT OFF???

N97 mini - hourly chime

Does anybody know how to switch off the hourly chime on the N97 mini.

Its annoying.

Clock chimes

Hi DougMcGuire,

I am Vanshita, an Independent Windows Advisor. I am here to work with you on this problem

I would like to inform that you cannot set Windows 10 clock to chime on the hour, but you can set an alarm for some particular time change the snooze time to one hour.

I also suggest you to refer the following Microsoft help article and check if it helps.

Note: The steps for Windows 8/8.1 applies to Windows 10.

Thanks, but I don't want to set the clock so it chimes on the hour. I want to set it so it DOESN'T chime on the hour.

Hourly Chime with Task Scheduler

I have been trying to setup an hourly chime sound to stop my Logitech Z906 sound system from switching off when no activity on my computer.
I copied this program that someone had used but cannot get it working on Task Scheduler..
Option Explicit

Dim sound : sound = "C:\Windows\Media\Alarm01.wav"

Set o = Nothing

I saved it in Notepad as a .vbs file on my desktop.

If I double click on it on my desktop it works fine but not when on Task scheduler.

Can anyone see where I am going wrong?
