How to turn off screen saver adverts

Hmm I'm here for pointers on how to configure the system and to understand ways to get the most value for my money by understanding where the settings I seek are. The lock screen adverts are part of the "spotlight" mode which has no option to turn off the "suggestions" so turning on picture mode lets you turn off "suggestions" - thank you @Paulo.

I now have followed all that is suggested by Microsoft to stop adverts showing in explorer but they still appear . any answers how to stop adverts for good

This is the suggested solution below if you haven't already tried it.

In this Windows 10 build 10041, the Mail, Calendar, and People apps may be broken due to a licensing issue with the Store Beta. To get these apps working again, you need to follow these steps:

• Open powershell as administrator
• Run the command Get-appxprovisionedpackage –online | where-object {$_.packagename –like “*windowscommunicationsapps*”} | remove-appxprovisionedpackage –online
• Re-install Mail, People and Calendar from the Store (green tile)
