Windows 10: How to understand minidump files?

I am trying to trace the origins of the crash for computers that get the BSOD, and I have the minidump files that I read through BlueScreenView, but I can't interpret the messages and am struggling to find research on it. I can tell that people are able to figure out exactly what caused the crash, but I can't figure it out. Can somebody teach me how to read these things? Can someone please execute these minidumps and post back the information i can't get the symbols to work on vista. ( the minidumps are from windows xp service pack 2)

Extracting Zip Files

Thanks pyramid10 for your contribution, I ensured that the steps taken and the source and destination folders were the same, in the using zip7 as suggested by BunnyJ resolved all issues for me.
I am the first to admit that I am a long long way from understanding the intricacies of computers and if truth be told I am now to old anyway to absorb much information.
