    My PC win10 22H2 enrolled in device management at Entra account registration page by mistake. Maybe it has been enrolled in the MDM too. But being managed by the MDM is not what I wanted.Then I went to the **"**Settings > Accounts > Access work or school " and “Disconnect” my work account though, I dont know whether the MDM can still remotely manage my PC.Therefore, I want to find a method to unenroll my PC from MDM without reaching out to the admin.Does "Update & Security > Recovery > Keep my files" work?What about Reinstalling th

  2. Server intitiated unenrollment doesnt disconnect the MDM account from the Management server

    Looks like I got the product category wrong, as I dont find a suitable one for this issue. Request admin to put it in the right category

    STEPS TO REPRODUCE:

    1. Enrolled a Windows 10 device of version 1809(OS Build 17763.292) through Provisioning Package mode of enrollment to a Management server
    2. After thet the deevice is able to sync sucessfully and execute the commands from different CSPs sent down by the management server
    3. Able to successfuly enforce Personalization CSP(Lockscreen/wallpaper image) and DM Client CSP(poll schedule and intervals)
    4. But when tried to unenroll the MDM client using DM CLient CSP's unenroll command, the sync fails for that iteration, but later on the device is able to sucessfully sync in ints next sync cycle

    The SyncML request that has been sent down to unenroll the device is as folows("ManagementServer" being the ProviderID as will as the MDM management server ):
    <Exec>
    <CmdID>2</CmdID>
    <Item>
    <Target>
    <LocURI>./Vendor/MSFT/DMClient/Provider/ManagementServer/Unenroll</LocURI>
    </Target>
    <Meta>
    <Format xmlns=”syncml:metinf”>chr</Format>
    </Meta>
    <Data>ManagementServer</Data>
    <!-- Data Field in Threshold is now IGNORED -->
    </Item>
    </Exec>

    EXPECTED BEHAVIOR:
    1. The MDM account which is managed by the Management server mentioned in the provisioning package should be removed and the device should stop syncing.

    MDM ConfigurationManager: Command failure status. Configuraton Source ID

    Hi bobbylee5098,

    Welcome to Microsoft Community.

    I'm Hahn and I'm here to help you with your concern.

    The error message you're encountering seems to be related to Mobile Device Management (MDM) configuration on your computer. MDM is commonly used in enterprise environments to manage and control devices remotely. The error message you're seeing indicates that there was a failure in executing a command related to MDM configuration.

    The specific error message you provided points to an issue with the AppLocker configuration for Family Safety settings. AppLocker is a Windows feature that allows administrators to restrict which applications are allowed to run on a system.

    The error message itself does not directly suggest a problem with the power supply unit (PSU) causing the shutdown or the MDM error.

    If your computer is part of an enterprise network and is managed by an MDM solution, reach out to your IT department for assistance. They might be able to provide guidance on troubleshooting MDM-related errors.

    I hope this helps. If there is anything not clear, please do not hesitate to let me know.

    Your Sincerely
