Windows 10: How to uninstall MySQL completely from my system?

Hello,I've downloaded MySQL for my windows 11. Apparently, I didn't follow the installation steps properly. I've chosen some options wrong during the installation process and it did not give me a desired output. So I thought of uninstalling it completely and start over again. For some reason even after uninstalling, some files of the download are still there and I've tried many ways to remove them permanently. However, moving ahead, I tried reinstalling by downloading the app again. It constantly took me to a page where it all went wrong and I'm unable to go forward or backward. I just want to

How to completely uninstall MySQL?

I suggest you to follow the steps mentioned below to uninstall MySQL from the device.

Step 1

Uninstall MySQL from Control Panel. To do so,

Go to Control Panel >Programs and Features > Select
MySQL > Click on Uninstall.

After you have uninstalled MySQL through Add/Remove programs, you now need to remove the existing database information which includes your actual data. If you need any of that data, be sure to back it up. Next you can delete
the data directory.

Step 2

Run Command Prompt as Administrator and execute the following command to stop and remove MySQL service.

Net stop MySQL

Sc delete MySQL

Step 3

1. Click on Start, type in Show hidden files and folders.
   
2. Select the View tab and select
   Show hidden files and folders.
   
3. Now explore the following locations and delete following folders.
   
   C:\Program Files\MySQL
   
   C:\Program Files (x86)\MySQL
   
   C:\ProgramData\MySQL
   
   And if exists, delete the folder from the location.
   
   C:\Users\[User-Name]\AppData\Roaming\MySQL
   
4. Restart your device and check the status.

You have to uninstall all the programs in the list with MySQL on their name.

Uninstall MySQL

Hi

I want to completely remove MySql which was installed a few years back. It throws up an error about root something or other followed by an unhandled exception error every time I start up. I haven't used it for a while either so just want to uninstall it
without ruining my pc. When I go to uninstall programs I see a long list of MySQL programs. Please can somebody be kind enough to guide me through safely unistalling mysql without damaging my PC.
