Windows 10: how to uninstall unused programs that are slowing pc down?

I never no what program top is a over just i yr. so i don't do much with it pay bills read news, and speak to kids, I dont need much please. or apps to keep one uninstall. I have tried to update read, try an add but when and how to delete this, my LA please help me

To assist you better, I would like to know whether you are referring to the Windows apps or the other applications.

If you find your system slow, it may be due to other reasons such as multiple programs running at the background, junk files or virus attack etc.

If you would like know which applications to uninstall, I suggest you to access Programs and features from the Control Panel and check the list of applications installed on the computer.

You may uninstall the less used application and keep the application which you feel is needed.

I suggest you to run System Maintenance troubleshooter finds and clean up unused files and shortcuts and performs maintenance tasks.

• Press Windows key and type Troubleshooting.
• Select Troubleshooting and hit Enter.
• Click on View all in the left pane of the window.
• Select System Maintenance.
• Click Next and follow the on-screen instructions to complete the troubleshooting process.

Programs in Programs and features list is less and slow performance of the PC after changing the hard drive on Windows 10.

Programs and features window show only the programs, applications or software that can be installed and uninstalled on the PC.

Before we assist further, I would like to ask you a few questions:

• Are you experiencing slow performance of the PC even after replacing the hard drive?
• After changing, did you install the programs, applications and software that were previously installed on the older hard drive?

There is no particular list to check the programs, applications and software installed on the PC that shows up in
Programs and features window. The programs, applications and software installed on the PC is displayed in the window so that it can be uninstalled when not necessary on the PC.

Running the troubleshooter will help in detecting and identifying the cause of the issue and in certain cases will fix to enhance the performance of the system.



Run System Maintenance troubleshooter by following the steps below and check for the status of the computer behavior. System freezes and other irregular behaviors is mostly caused due to the unwanted/unused files retained in the PC.



System Maintenance troubleshooter will find and clean up unused files and shortcuts present on the system and perform maintenance tasks which will enhance the performance of the PC.

• Press Windows logo key on the keyboard, type Troubleshooting and select the top most search result.
• Select View all from the left side panel of the window.
• Select System Maintenance from the listed options, click on
  Advanced option and check Apply repairs automatically
  option.
• Follow the on-screen instructions and wait for the troubleshooting to complete.
• After the troubleshooting is completed, check the status for any missing system components on the computer.
• Close the window and check if the issue is resolved

can't uninstall program

- Did you try un-installing the program from programs and features?

I suggest you to follow the steps below and check if it helps.

Repairing or removing programs

To uninstall programs, go to Settings.

• On the Start menu, then select Settings.
• Select System > Apps & features.
• Select the program, then select Uninstall. Some apps that are built in to Windows can’t be uninstalled.
  
• Follow the directions on the screen.

If you are still unable to uninstall the program, follow the steps below.

• In Search, enter Control Panel and select Control Panel.
• Select Programs > Programs and Features, then select the program.
• Select the program, then select Uninstall. Some apps that are built in to Windows can’t be uninstalled.
  
• Follow the directions on the screen.
