Windows 10: how to uninstall winget and windows app installer in win 11

winget.exe in appdata local microsoft shows 0 bytes and fails to load.the new update of windows app installer fails to upgrade.

Win 11 widget doesn't work

It looks like the Windows Web Experience pack is not working properly. Please try uninstalling it first, using the following steps:

• Right-click Start>Windows Terminal(admin).
  
• Execute the following command:
  

winget uninstall "Windows web experience pack"

Then, using the same elevated Terminal/Powershell Window, reinstall WWEP using this command:

winget install 9MSSGKG348SP

Restart your computer.

Is there an easy way to get Winget to uninstall MS Teams Personal?

We're trying to use Winget a lot more as we transition to 11, this means uninstalling unwanted applications using their winget UID and we've hit a stumbling block with Microsoft Teams. Microsoft Teams Enterprise is set as Microsoft.Teams but so is the Personal Version which is pre-packaged with upgrades to Windows 11.

This is awkward because if we want to install MS teams we'd use winget install Microsoft.Teams, or winget install --id="Microsoft.Teams" and I can't quite figure out how else to do this. Only the version number is different.

How can we do this using winget? I'm super excited about having an actual package manager I can use, but equally if there are duplicate App IDs I haven't a clue how we'd administer this.

Problems updating Google Chrome with Winget (App installer)

I've had this problem long since I learned about winget. It is one of the essential tools I use to update my apps to their latest version. The only problem with winget is that it does not upgrade Google Chrome, even when it appears in the list of available upgrades.



I tried to download the Google Chrome package individually and this is what appears after the command is executed:




I tried uninstalling and re-installing the winget package from the official GitHub page, but it didn't resolve the issue. Please suggest me the ways to overcome this problem. Thanks in advance!
