Windows 10: How to unlock a acer laptopwindows 11 i locked through findmy device???

I accidentally lock my laptop through findmy device and remove the device from Microsoft account.I can't unlock my laptop when entering the password The message shown as follows: “An administrator has restricted sign in. To sign in, make sure your device is connected to the internet, and have your administrator sign in first”. I connected to the internet and i have signed into my Microsoft account but i can't open the my laptop.

I understand your desire to try to unlock your device since you've found it after remotely locking it. I am here to help and let us work on this together. You may try to unlock your device by booting it into safe mode and uncheck the account is disabled. You may follow the steps below.

1. Hold down the power button for 10 seconds to turn off your device.
   
2. Press the power button again to turn on your device.
   
3. On the first sign that Windows has started hold down the power button for 10 seconds to turn off your device.
   
4. Press the power button again to turn on your device.
   
5. When Windows restarts, hold down the power button for 10 seconds to turn off your device.
   
6. Press the power button again to turn on your device.
   
7. Allow your device to restart into Automatic Repair and select Advanced options to enter WinRE.
   

Now that you are in WinRE, you will follow these steps to take you to safe mode:

1. On the Choose an option screen, select Troubleshoot > Advanced options > Startup Settings > Restart.
   
2. After your device restarts, you’ll see a list of options. Select option 5 from the list or press F5 for Safe Mode with Networking.
   

If you can enter system through safe mode, you can try unlocking your account by right-clicking on Start > Open the Computer Management > Local Users and Groups > Users > Double click on your account > Uncheck the Account is disabled.

If that didn't work, you may need to factory reset your Surface device from the sign in screen. Here’s how:

1. On your keyboard, press the Windows logo key + L. If you need to, dismiss the lock screen.
   
2. Hold the Shift key down while you select Power > Restart in the lower-right corner of the screen.
   
3. After your Surface restarts to the Choose an option screen, select Troubleshoot > Reset this PC.

Hi There,

I am wondering what is the step to do to unlock a Surface Book device that I have locked it remotely? Is the other user can still sign in after I lock it remotely?

I have it with my staff right now, but I need to lock it since his contract is over before he could return it to the office.

I lost my device so locked it remotely via the find my device app.

It is a windows 11 surface pro.

I found my device but now cannot unlock it to sign in. It doesn't accept my PIN, windows hello or otherwise. In safe mode it also requires a pin.

How can I unlock my device?
