    Quick background. I was worried that my PC may have been compromised, so I decided to copy my personal files from my personal PC to my external drive. Then, I imaged my PC. After Windows loaded, I started to move files back over, but when I tried to access some, I was unable to open the files. I get the message"User does not have access or privileges.I have removed and added my username to the admin group of the folder/s and or drive, ensuring that "Full Control" is selected. I have also tried to make this same change in computer management. I have verified access to my account in the compute

    Hi,

    We suggest that you follow the steps below to put your settings back to default and see if it helps.

    • Right-click your mouse on your desktop.
    • Click on Personalize.
    • Select Colors.
    • Click on High contrast settings.
    • From the drop-down menu, select None.
    • Click Apply.
    • Reboot the PC for the changes to take effect.
