My desktop icons move to a grid on the left for no reason

    Hello,

If your icons are aligned to a grid, this means that the settings of your desktop are currently auto arranged and automatically aligned. Since you want to rearrange your desktop icons on however you like them, we suggest that you follow these steps:

    • Right-click at a blank area on your desktop.
    • Hover on View.
    • In the right pane, look for Auto arrange icons. If it's checked, make sure to uncheck it.
    • Hover again on View.
    • This time, look for Align icons to grid. If it's checked, make sure to uncheck it.

After doing these steps, you'll be able to rearrange all your desktop icons again on how you want it.

Let us know how it goes and if you need further assistance, feel free to post back.

[Issue] Unusual Grid Lines Appearing on Monitor Screen - Windows 10

Hello everybody! I'll be quick and straight to the point with my problem, while giving as much information as I can. Ever since I successfully upgraded from Windows 7 to Windows 10, my display monitor has been displaying a weird grid. The grid seems to consist
of a slightly transparent, white color and takes up the entire screen. Sometimes, however, it may not be clearly visible when blended in with certain other content within the display. This annoying detail is most noticeable on the Windows taskbar and the app
    menu.

    • Here are steps I have taken to try and solve this problem:
      • Updated my drivers (graphics card, display adapter, etc.)
      • Updated the Windows operating system via the 'Settings' app.
      • Ran a virus/malware scan.
      • Adjusted the screen resolution to see if the problem still existed, by which it did.
      • Hard rebooted the PC
      • Troubleshooted problems using the Windows troubleshooter packages.
Unfortunately, I am baffled as to what to do next. I have searched countless times online in attempts to finding someone else with the exact same problem. This grid-like thing sitting on my screen has got to go. I would highly appreciate any assistance
    regarding this topic, many thanks.
