Windows 10: How to upgrade OEM Windows 11 Home to digital Windows 11 Professional

I bought a new laptop with Windows 11 Home Single Language preinstalled OEM DM channel. I have logged in my Microsoft account which has Windows 11 Professional digital license. I want to upgrade Windows but it's offering me to buy a new license.

Upgrade Windows 11 Home to Professional

I recently purchased an Asus VivoBook 14 X415EA laptop, which came pre-installed with Windows 11 Home. I actually had a plan of buying a Desktop PC, for which I purchased a Windows 10 Professional OEM license (DVD version). From a few web search, I came to know that I can use the same license to upgrade my Windows 11 Home to Professional. I followed the procedure to upgrade the Windows provided in Microsoft support page. But my Windows didn't upgraded from Home to Professional. What could be the problem? Is there any other way to do the procedure? Need help regarding this.
