Hello,I purchased this laptop from one of my friend year ago and it has windows 7 Licensed one of course, i want to upgrade to windows 10 or 11, what is the process, i am connected to internet.My system configuration is below:1. WINDOWS 7 ultimate2. Intel Core i3 *** Email address is removed for privacy *** GHz3. RAM 6 GB4. 64 - bit OS5. Acer Aspire 4387Z

Windows 7 not genuine problem

It seems like that's an OEM windows copy, it will do that the every time you reinstall the OS. If you have the key, next time you see the "not genuine windows copy" click it and choose to activate by phone, everything else is pretty straight forward as it explains step-by-step. If it doesn't work, then its highly likely that you got a Pirate copy.

Want to replace my Windows 7

Hi All,

I suspect that my Windows 7 installed on my PC may not be genuine - I have taken steps to purchase a genuine version on Windows 7, and need some help to "convert" over.

I guess I need to somehow deactivate the current version of 7, and then reactivate with my genuine key. Does that sound correct, or is a different approach required? If so, can anyone offer me the best advice to do this?
