Windows 10: How to upload pictures from iPhone to PC without loading all items from camera roll?

I'm trying to upload some of my newest pictures from my iPhone to PC and have to wait for all 16000 photos to load onto the photos app to select the newest ones. Is there a better way to do this? It takes too long for all of them to load. Thanks!

Thank you for contacting Microsoft community.

I suggest you to follow the below steps for arranging the camera pictures in recent order and check if it helps.

• Press “Windows+E” it will open file explorer.
• Go to “This PC” and click on “pictures folder”.
• Then click on “camera roll folder”.
• And right click on the empty space and select “sort by” option.
• Then select ascending option.

Onedrive camera roll.

I have a folder in onedrive named camera roll. The last 2 days I took pictures with my iphone (5s). Yesterday my iphone onedrive app put the pictures in a new folder named camera roll 1, today it put pictures in a new folder named camera roll 2. Can anybody explain why this is happening? I did not create these folders.

How are you trying to upload the Photos? Are you using any application software for uploading the photos?

What exactly happens when you try to upload the Photos? Do you receive any error message?

Do you have webcam on your computer? If so, are you using Camera app to click Photos?

All pictures, videos, and panoramas you take with the Camera app are saved to your camera roll. There are different ways you can look at your camera roll.

• 
  Camera app: Will be saved i Camera roll folder.
  
• 
  Photos app: Go to the Pictures library, and then to the
  Camera roll folder.
  
• 
  File Explorer: Go to the Pictures folder, and then to the
  Camera roll folder.
