Windows 10: How to use intel graphics card instead of nvidia when using external monitor ?

I have a LG external monitor with GSync and a Acer Nitro Laptop with Nvidia 1060t graphics. Whenever i connect my laptop to the external monitor and close the lid of laptop 2nd display only the monitor and all the apps on Laptop start to run on nvidia gpu instead of intel cpu. I tried to look many ways to switch to intel cpu or intel graphics but none of them work. Due to monitor and apps running on nvidia gpu laptop heats like crazy and fan start to run on full speed.Please suggest what to do.

Kindly follow below steps

Open the NVIDIA* Control Panel.

Under 3D Settings select Manage 3D Settings.

Click the Program Settings tab

Select the program you want to choose a graphics card for from the drop-down list.

Select the preferred graphics processor in the drop-down list. If you want to use the integrated graphics card, select Integrated Graphics.
