Windows 10: How to use Key board in tablet mode Dell 2 in 1

Hello, how do I activate my keyboard in tablet mode I’m trying to use my Keyboard in tablet mode but every time I try the computer disables the keyboard For reference I am using a Dell Inspiron 14, 2 in 1 with AMD

Thank you for posting your query on Microsoft Community.

Follow the below steps and check if it helps.

1. Right click on the Task bar and select Show Touch Keyboard Button.

2. Open the Keyboard and close it ( just to check if its working).

2. Next click on Action center
and select Tablet Mode.

3. Once you are in Tablet mode, again Right click on the
Task bar and select Show Touch Keyboard Button.

5. Open the Key board and check if its Working in Tablet mode. Next check if its available on the task bar in both desktop and tablet mode.

I have a Lenovo 2 in 1 and in tablet mode the virtual key board pops up and down, does remain displayed.

the VKB acts the same with all programs.

I have to return to not book mode and use the physical or VKB which now works.

as I replied earlier this does NOT help with the problem I am having.

the steps you posted work as long as the keyboard is not folded to behind the screen.

as soon as I fold my 2 in 1 to the tablet mode the VKB stops working as described earlier.
