List of collaboration settings

Hello,

I am a lone user, I don't collaborate, is there a list of settings and parameters I can tweet to turn off collaboration settings? Microsoft 365 is meaningless to me (I am guessing) and I don't use the collaboration in Office 365 either - but I know there are settings in Windows and Office that might have minute impact on performance - I found one last month (which I didn't document - and don't remember).

I am Jaspreet Singh.

Microsoft office as normal usage doesn’t use collaboration/sharing. You need to manually share the documents/files for the sharing/collaboration to begin.

So knowing that Microsoft office apps or you amount in general doesn’t have a universal “single mode” / “collaboration mode” switch or other settings that you can tweak.

Simply put if you share a document the collaboration features come into play but if you keep the documents unshared no such feature is used.

 

Badly zoomed in on all Office products and Explorer

Hi,

I suggest you to try the below steps and check if it helps.

• If you have a mouse with a wheel, hold down the Ctrl key, and then scroll the wheel to zoom in or out.
• From the keyboard, you can increase or decrease the zoom value in 10% increments. To zoom in, press Ctrl + (+). To zoom out, press Ctrl + (-). To restore the zoom to 100%, press Ctrl+0.
