Windows 10: How to use Snip & Sketch to copy to a .jpg image

I often use Snip & Sketch and copy/paste the image into an email or other document. This creates a .png file -- how do I get S&S to create a .jpg file?I know I could save the image as a .jpg file but that requires extra steps and I don't want to save the image as a file -- I just want to be able to embed the S&S image in an email, but not as an attachment to the email.Help will be much appreciated.Lindsay GrahamCanberra, AustraliaPS I was forced to select a Sub-Topic for this post, but none is applicable -- I chose the first option, but the post is not about Mail or Outlook Mail.

Snip&Sketch copy/paste not working

Of course. The image will paste fine into other programs. There is some property that is being set that prevents it from pasting in Live Mail. If I recopy it through an intermediate program, it then pastes fine into Live Mail. I would be happy to convert
to Snip & Sketch if it weren't for this extra step in order to get a snip into an email. I want it to work just like the old Snip Tool does -- copy/paste works fine.

When you snip an area with the Snip and Sketch tool, do you then click the button indicated below at the top right of Snip and Sketch to copy the snip before pasting it into the Live Mail app?

When i open the Snip and sketch tool I am able to select an area and copy it. However none of the pencils, icons are active I am not able to select them and draw or highlight anything on the clipped item. what is wrong??

Any suggestion welcome
