Windows 10: how to use SSD M.2?

    how to use SSD M.2?


    Ive gotten this installed onto my mother board already, formatted it, and confirmed i have 1.8 TB of extra space in a New Volume D:. Say i have 10 GB left on my computers original storage, if i went over that limit would my actions i.e. downloading just over flow into the New volume or do i have drag and drop files or to take other actions.

    SATA SSD and M.2 SSD

    i was with a ssd sata and now i have ssd m.2, i formatted and put windows 11 in m.2, but i did not remove the ssd sata, i can only boot windows with the ssd sata connected, if i remove it windows does not boot to m.2



    obs: windows was installed on m.2 but the ssd sata was still connected, but windows was 100% installed on m.2, is there any way I can set m.2 as primary? (when i removed the ssd sata it did not recognize windows)

    Thanks for the follow-up. The behavior you mention the blacking out pixel by pixel I wouldn't rule out something related to your video card, but the question here is, what's happening with the SSD, right? But just curious, what kind of cooling system do you have installed?

    On the other hand, since the Crucial SSD is the one not working, can you please check the suggestion on this post? https://superuser.com/questions/1402150/m-2-ssd...
