    Hi,


    I have a Focusrite Scarlet 4i4 USB. It has 4 in and 4 out and I was wondering if there is any way to utilize the 4 inputs and 4 outputs in Windows software. It works very well in any ASIO DAWs but not in Windows software.


    Is there anyway to activate all the i/o's so I can use them in any software?


    I want to be able to use input 1 and 2 on Discord and have it output on Out 3 and 4

    Any games I want to output on out 1 and 2


    Is it possible?

    • What is the make and model of your external audio interface?
    • Which routing application are you using?


    The configurations of inputs and outputs on any audio interface is dependent on the hardware and its supporting software. Any audio interface with more than 2 inputs and 2 outputs, should ideally give the user an option to map the
    Input and Output Config, according to his interest.



    I suggest you to go through the user manual provided by your audio interface's manufacturer to know how to set up the control surface.



    If it doesn't explain how to configure, I suggest you to get in touch with the audio interface's manufacturer to know how to configure the same.

    Hi.

    I think I wasn't clear explaining my problem.

    The part with the interface and audio/daw software I have no problems.

    My problem is, imagine I have a movie with multi channel audio. I use a player, VLC or any other, and I want to be able to say, left do output 5 of interface, right to output 7, center to output 1, and so on.

    This must be done on windows as my interface is only working as a sound card.
