    How to verify that copy worked?


    On an external disk, I have file system exFAT allocation size 128 kilobytesUsed Space 88,153,522,176 bytesI copied it to a folder on an internal disk. cntl-a cntl-c cntl-vthe filesystem is NTFSallocation size 4096 bytessize: 47.9 GB 51,478,405,806 bytessize on disk: 48.0 GB 51,591,475,200 bytesContains:81,135 Files, 8,774 FoldersThere is clearly a difference in total storage. I did not get an error message. 1 Is there a way to find any differences non-duplicates? the opposite of finding duplicates2 Is this plausibly due to allocation sizes 128k vs 4096?

    The tutorials provided are just a list of troubleshooting steps. Use only the steps which apply to you.

    Since none of the troubleshooting steps here worked, I'd suggest you do a Clean install.

    BSOD hidclass.syss with verifier enabled

    Hi DocSams,

    Could you upload the memory dump, C:\Windows\MEMORY.dmp, to onedrive and post a share link. The minidumps provided severely lack in data.

    If you haven't yet, please disable driver verifier.
    Resetting driver verifier options (recommended in this order)
    1. In normal mode open an administrator command prompt and enter the below command
    2. In safe mode open an administrator command prompt and enter the below command
    3. On 3 boot failures, you'll boot automatically to the recovery options,
      • click Troubleshoot
      • go to the advanced options
      • choose command prompt
      • enter the below command
    4. Boot with the recovery media, see above 4 steps in option 3.
    5. Via the recovery options or recovery media, select a restore point prior enabling driver verifier
