Windows 10: How to view DSB files from Emergency back up

I had to restore my Windows 7 computer. Everything was backed up in an emergency folder but I can’t view them as they are DSB files. How do I view them please. I have tried ‘Show hidden files and folders’ in Appearance and Personalization as someone suggested, to no avail.

Just to confirm, is this the same thing that you tried on your phone, in order to turn off Amber Alerts?

• Open Settings.
• Tap on System.
• Tap on Messaging.
• Tap on the Change emergency alert settings link.
• Turn on or off the emergency alerts you want.

Let us know if this was the same thing that you tried.

We would also suggest to reset your phone after doing these steps to ensure that the changes on your phone's settings will be refreshed.

Simply press and hold the Power and Volume down button for 15 seconds and then release your hold afterwards.

 

File Explorer and viewing pictures

  Select Detail panel.

  Now if you click on any picture or file you will be able to see the information at the top right corner.

• Open the File Explorer and try to search for files.
• In the toolbar, open the View tab and click List
  to change the view.
• Once changed, close the File Explorer.
• Open the File Explorer again and try to search to see if the setting has been retained.
