Windows 10: How update Macrium Free V6 to v7?

    How update Macrium Free V6 to v7?


    Hello,

    I am currently using Macrium free V6.3 (thanks to this site) and have decided to upgrade to V7.

    How do I do this? I went to 'Other Tasks > Check for Updates' but is says 'No Updates found'?

    Is there no way to upgrade from within Macrium Free app?

    Do I need to download V7 from Macrium web site over the top of V6?
    If so, what about my Scheduled Backup? Are they preserved?

    Would appreciate some advice?

    Image Backup Windows 10.

    Many thanks. I checked and I'm using 117GB of my C drive so I bought a 128GB USB stick. This looked as though it was going to be simple but I met numerous problems. I'm now thinking of trying the free version of something called Macrium V6. but I don't
    really know what I'm doing.

    Download Windows 10

    Macrium will create a image of the entire drive. The image will a copy of your drive exactly like the day you created it. There are lots of ways to use the image. You can mount the image and then copy and paste.

    How update Macrium Free V6 to v7?

    Just download MR free from their site and upgrade, that's what I did and it preserved all my settings but had to make new rescue USB. There are some new options in v7.xx and you may want to take a look at them.
