My Mom bought HP laptop with 8GB Ram but strangely Windows 11 is utilising above 75% Memory after restart and idling. Memory utilisation come from manufacturer apps which are meant to help end user who are not computer literate. After spending a week using these apps for technical support, I haven’t found them make my life as computer literate person easier. These apps don’t add much value. She have HP laptop before without these manufacturer apps. I’m technically capable of uninstalling manufacturers apps without impact on warranty but like to find out from other HP home laptops users what di

Are you trying to purchase the app from Windows Store?



Try the below methods and check:

Method 1: I would suggest you to run the inbuilt app troubleshooter.

Follow the steps:

• 
  Press “Windows” + “X” and select Control Panel.
  
• 
  Select Troubleshooting and select View all on left hand side of the screen.
  
• 
  Select the App and follow the instruction to troubleshoot.
  

Method 2: I suggest you to follow the steps below to reset the Windows store:

• 
  Press the “Win Logo” + “R”
  
• 
  Type: WSReset.exe and press “Enter”.
  
• 
  Restart the computer and check.

HP Connected Remote is an app that comes preinstalled on select Windows HP computers. I would suggest you to follow the below steps and check if it resolves this issue.

• On the Windows 10 Start screen, type hp connected remote.
• Click HP Connected Remote from the Apps search results.
• Click Settings, and make sure Enable HP Connected Remote is turned On.

Upgrading HP SSD drive on HP 750-524

I purchased an HP Envy tower with a 128Gb SSD which is where Windows is installed, I have purchased a new 1TB SSD drive that I would like to replace the 128 GB drive with. My machine did not come with the Windows 10 Media, what steps do I need to take before
I install the new drive and install windows.

• Where do I get the Windows 10 install
• What steps are needed to create an Install disk
• Do I have to deactivate my old install before removing the old drive.

Please let me know if there are any other considerations.
