Windows 10: How would I resolve this SSD related issue?

Right, so I am trying to install a Crucial PCIe Gen4 NVMe M.2 SSD T500 2TB into my IdeaPad Gaming 3 15ARH7 laptop. Supposedly, the SSD is compatible with the laptop, and it does show up as an active drive for a few minutes after I restart my laptop, but then it disappears, only showing up as a hidden drive in Device Manager. Looking at the error code, it says: "Currently, this hardware device is not connected to the computer. Code 45 To fix this problem, reconnect this hardware device to the computer." However, I have tried disconnecting and reconnecting the SSD several times to no avail.

• Click OK

That's what the auto setting will do since you're over the 1333 mark it jumps to the next step which isn't listed or officially supported I assume by that ram.

At this point though I would suggest dropping the multi one step or .5 so that we can get something stable and possibly take the heat issue out of the picture for now.

Method 1

Change settings in Control Panel as follows:

  In Power Options.

  Go to advance settings.

  Selectoption "Do Nothing" When laptop lid closes.
  

It resolves the problem partially after closing the lid.
