Windows 10: HP 15 - bs600_Keyboard and TouchPad not working.

Keyboard and touchpad is not working, I tried using an external mouse and it works fine, but external keyboard is not working, what could be the problem here?

Hi, normally there would be some Synaptic processes running of course, for example




I suggest you start by creating a snapshot similar to that when your touchpad is working, then another when it is not, and compare them.

If they are the same, the problem is elsewhere.

- it might be that one or more of these processes ceases to run, and after a restart you're back to normal, for example.

The above will help to determine that.

Is there an option in Settings to disable it?

Is there a key combination on your laptop that disables the touchpad?

Are you using the touchpad software provided by HP? This appears to be the last one available for your laptop:

Disable Touchpad on HP Pavillion 15 Windows 10

Help ! I cannot disable my Touchpad. I have an HP pavilion 15 Windows 10. Model 15t-cs0 Product 3AJ05AV. I have tried every suggestion I have found on searches. Either the button is not there. the option is not there. or the directions do not work (i.e
nothing happens when I double tap the upper left corner of the touchpad. Someone please help. This touchpad is constantly in the way when I type and it is super frustrating.
