Windows 10: HP 240 G3, cannot get wifi no matter what

Discus and support HP 240 G3, cannot get wifi no matter what in Windows 10 Network and Sharing to solve the problem; I have tried Linux, and the wifi works just fine.     HP 240 G3, cannot get wifi no matter what


    I have tried Linux, and the wifi works just fine. On windows 10 however, I always see a Red X mark by the wifi. I've installed the driver, tried driver softwares. It's driving me crazy. What could it be? Any ideas?

    Pc will not boot

    i have a windows 10 hp 240 g3 and i comes with recovery screen i cant change to boot from a USB and can@t recover plz help

    HP 240 G3, cannot get wifi no matter what

    Get the correct driver from HP and install it.
    I presume it worked when you bought it. So use the recovery procedure to get back to factory installed state.

    Yes, I've installed the driver from HP several times already. Straight from their website. This laptop did not come preloaded with Windows 10. It had windows 8.1. I want to use windows 10 on this laptop, but I also want the wifi to work. If it works in linux, why wouldn't it work in windows?
