    'Driver is unavailable' for Canon MP560 Printer

    Hi,



    Thank you for writing to Microsoft Community Forums.



    We understand that issue you are facing with printing using Canon MP560 printer, we will look into this for you. However, it would be great if you can provide the details requested below:



    • When do you get the message “Driver is unavailable”?
    • Are you able to see the printer under Devices and Printer in Control Panel?
    • Are you aware of any changes made to the computer recently?


    You can try setting the printer as default and attempt to print documents. Refer the steps from the article

    How to set a default printer in Windows 10    .



    If the issue persists, you may refer the steps mentioned in the article
    Fix printer connection and printing problems in Windows 10    . You download the drivers from

    PIXMA MP560     and install them.



    Additional information:
    Install a printer in Windows 10    .

    Cannon printer

    After buying a new computer with Windows 10 I cannot acces the scanner portion of my Cannon Pixma MG5420. I can print with the printer but CANNOT scan anything! The scanner is listed under installed scanners, but I have no way to scan anything. Cannot
    bring it up to scan from the computer and when I select scan on the printer it acts like it's scanning but I don't think it is going to the computer because the scanned document in nowhere to be found. I am not about to a new printer/ scanner when this one
    is perfectly good just because Windows 10 is a piece of crap and doesn't like anything that was directly installed from the Windows app store. HELP!

    I cannot print from Canon MP560 on network - wireless setting. I am running Windows10 . when I print: Printer not responding. Can you help me? It shows up in the network and says the connection is good, but I cannot
    print even a test page.
