Windows 10: HP All-in-one Windows 10 Home - Audio Not Working

So recently I had to fix the black screen of death No Cursor on startup, and shortly after the audio stopped working.

What I mean by this is that the Internal Speakers, Headphones, or any other audio devices didn't work.


The audio button looks normal but it has a red circle with a white X in the middle of it to the bottom right of the logo, and whenever I click on it it troubleshoots the audio and says that nothing is plugged in.


Ever since I have done this, on startup instead of a white HP logo there's a blue windows logo.

DTS supported natively by Windows 8/8.1 and it should work on windows 10 too just DDL require to unlock your driver .

If the issue persists, you may update the chipset drivers for your PC and check if it works.

I think today's windows update(stable channel) solves d issue

Cumulative Update KB4020102 Windows 10 v1703 Build 15063.332

can i install this on my HP laptop which has realtek hardware id as mentioned down below

It comes with inbuilt DTS sound + from HP
i'm currently using latest driver 8152.
