Windows 10: HP Computer is slow, Normal CPU is over 50% when using simple apllications.

Hi there, My name is Julian.


My HP computer (3-4 months) has been running quite slowly. Even from the day I got it it has been slow, and now it's gotten worse. After the computer goes to sleep, when I wake it up, it freezes for 1-5 minutes. Opening most apps brings the CPU to 100%, Opening Task Manager also brings it 100%, and just streaming videos brings it to 100%. I am very confused about why this is happening, so when I opened the task manager, I was shocked to find over 40 background processes running at once.




This was Taken just as I was writing this message


Am I supposed to have this many processes at once? becaus eI feel having all these processes running at once is causing the computer to lag.


NOT SO FUN FACT: As I was writing this, my computer was lagging out quite a bit, with words not typing, then appearing, and the browser itself would freeze up.


So I ask you, what should I do?

Unable to access HP Simple Pass to Sign-in to the computer on Windows 10

• Do let us know the make and model of your computer?
• Have you installed HP simple pass software on your computer?

Try the below steps and check if it helps.

Step 1: I suggest you to download the latest HP Simple Pass software from the manufacturer's website install it and check if it helps.

Step 2: If you have already installed the software, I suggest you to re-install it and check if the issue persists.

Follow the steps to Access Recovery Manager:

• Press Start button from the keyboard, type Recover Manager.
• Select Recovery Manager from the list when it becomes available. Allow the action to continue, if prompted. The
  HP Recovery Manager opens.
• Click Software program re-installation, Next , select
  HP SimplePass for the listing and then follow the on-screen instructions to reinstall application

wsappx is using 50% of the CPU

Hi,

Wsappx is a Windows Store program that is trawling your computer for all installed apps and telling Microsoft what programs you have, what versions etc. If it’s using more than 50% of your CPU and causes trouble on your
device, we would recommend that you disable it. You may follow these steps:

• Go to Control Panel.
• Look for Administrative Tools.
• Select Computer Management then Services, you will see this entry:
  
  Windows Store Service (WSService) "Provides infrastructure..." [Status is blank] "Manual (Trigger Start)" "Local System"
• Now you may disable it.

Windows Update Constantly Using 50% Of CPU.
