Windows 10: HP computer keeps crashing after most recent Windows 11 update 9/13/24

My HP Envy x360 keeps crashing. This started on 9/13/24 which coordinates with the “successful” “2024-09 cumulative update for Windows 11 version 23H2 x64-based systems KB5043076”I’ll be working on something and then the screen will go black. The power button still shows that it’s on but the screen never comes back on and my second monitor doesn’t register a connection. There is no noticeable correlation between a specific task causing the crash. I have tried disconnecting power and second monitor. Still crashes. Tried running with minimal tasks thinking it was being overworked. Still crashe

HP Spectre Folio 13 lost Bluetooth after latest Windows 11 update

After the most recent Windows 11 update, Bluetooth on this HP Spectre Folio 13t-Ak000 CTO stopped working. The computer refuses to report that it has Bluetooth, so no controls are visible. Given the proximity to the Windows 11 update, I am assuming that it is a software conflict rather than a hardware failure. The latest manufacturer's updates are for Windows 10 only.

The following steps were taken, to no avail:

• Airplane mode was turned on and off.
  
• A corrupted device driver, suspected as being the misinterpreted Bluetooth driver, was removed and the computer was rebooted to force a reinstallation.
  
• All Windows and HP updates were installed, including a BIOS update.
  
• System File Checker repaired the OS.
  
• HP's network drivers were downloaded and reinstalled on the system.
  
• The Bluetooth troubleshooter was run but no Bluetooth hardware was detected.
  

I have also posted this report on the HP boards. I have considered looking for the component manufacturer's Bluetooth drivers, if any, but I can't figure out the manufacturer. Any suggestions would be welcome.

 

Repeated Crashes and Boot Errors Apparently Caused by Driver Updates

The chkdsk /f /r report displayed that there were corrections made in the volume bitmap.

Run these commands and post images and then continue with the prior steps:
There was a command for disk 1 but the command for disk 0 seems to have been skipped (steps 24 and 25) for the partition information. These are some additional commands.

1) diskpart
2) list disk
3) select disk 0
4) list volume
5) list partition
6) select partition 1
7) detail partition
8) select partition 2
9) detail partition
10) select partition 3
11) detail partition
12) select partition 4
13) detail partition
14) if there are any other partitions on disk 0 continue in the same fashion
15) exit
16) continue with prior steps

 

Computer keeps crashing

when its in the l last step of installing windows vista it crashes i think its a hardware issue because the is the second disk it has done it on ( i returned the other one) any help would be great system is in the system specs its windows vista ultimate also
