Windows 10: HP DesignJet 130 not printing

Discus and support HP DesignJet 130 not printing in Windows 10 Drivers and Hardware to solve the problem; Please help! My HP DesignJet 130 printer has stopped working.     HP DesignJet 130 not printing


    Please help! My HP DesignJet 130 printer has stopped working.

    Exhausted all troubleshooting options that I could think about or find. Nothing works.

    Please HELP urgently.


    I have tested the printer on Windows 8.1 laptop and it works, so the hardware is not faulty. It seems to all point to an issue between Windows 10 and the HP Designjet 130 driver.

    Funny thing is that it has been working fine on Windows 10 for quite a while, so I think it might be a recent Windows update that has caused the prolem.

    Pre Windows diagnostic – no problem – go ahead – upgrade

    Printer worked fine in Windows XP and then 7

    Sees printer will not print!

    Removed printer and reinstalled

    Current HP Driver 8.10 installed

    Yes this is the default printer (I can print to a network printer)

    Printer is connected with parallel cable LPT1 Local Install.

    Device manager – says no issue “working properly”

    HP Print and Scan Doctor – can’t connect (sees it can’t connect)

    Restarted Print Spooler – still no print

    Printer has been removed and reinstalled

    Ran Microsoft troubleshooting, etc. – kicks me to “more help forum, community”

    Followed and exhausted all FAQ, forums, and tech suggestions from HP and Microsoft

    Turned off Firewall – that was not issue

    Uninstalled Adobe Reader – that was not issue

    Turned off security – that was not the issue

    How to print faster on HP DesignJet 1050C?

    In my office we have a color wide format printer, the HP DesignJet 1050C. The printing itself doesn't take long at all once it starts, but sending the file to the printer can take 5-10 minutes with something like 5-15MB PDF. The PDFs in question are just one page PDFs, they're 24x36" floor plans of a building.

    Right now it's using a parallel port/PCI card, are there any faster options? I think it has a serial port but I'm not too familiar with printers in general so I'm not sure if that'd be any better. Any suggestions would be appreciated!

    HP Designjet will not print with Windows 10

    HELP I also have a hp designjet 130. I am experiencing major issues. Worked beautiful before Windows 10 upgrade. Windows 10 pre diagnostic said "no issues" good to go. Not so. You helped this guy between Dec 30 and Jan ....

    I have - followed
    Jas4bg     suggestions to the T. I have followed HP and Microsoft instructions, I have installed 8.10 HP driver, checked in device manager etc., I have removed and reinstalled printer, I have for kicks uninstalled Adobe
    Reader, turned off the firewall - nothing matters - I cannot print. I have run the HP Print and Scan Doctor - it can find the printer but not identify issue, I have used Microsoft printer diagnostics troubleshooting - same song. I have restarted the print
    spooler.

    I can print all day to a network printer another HP but this local LPT1 printer - no way. Its humming in the background but no one is delivering any paper! I need help any help.

    I have been "ended" by chat Microsoft (3) times abruptly - they simply end the chat. I called - was told I have to pay 149.00 for advanced technical service!

    Anyone with any knowledge - I'm all ears.
