    hp envy 4512 printer no longer prints color or automatic two-sided printing


    Every time Windows has "updated" itself for the last 8 - 10 months, I lose the capability of two-sided printing and color printing on my wireless HP Envy 4512 printer. This has happened when 1809 was finally able to be loaded and for every "security update" or "system update" for that version. I just received 1903 and lost most functionality of the wireless printer again. I'm really getting tired of completely uninstalling and reinstalling this printer every time Microsoft decides to wipe it out.


    My question - Is there any way to keep the HP drivers - HP software for this printer intact when Microsoft sends me "updates" for the operating system??? It's getting to be very tedious......

    Printer will not print color

    My HP envy 5540 printer will not print color when I want it to. The test page prints color, shows color levels are good. I go to advanced settings and select color but it automatically sets it back to monochromatic as soon as I exit the settings
    menu. Will not print anything for me in color.
