Windows 10: HP ENVY stuck in tablet mode

windows 11HP ENVY x 360My laptop is stuck in tablet mode and there is no way to directly disable it. Folding it 360 to tablet and unfolding it back to a laptop does not help.Rotation Lock is disabled then also tablet mode doesn't turn off.

Tablet Mode doesn't automatically turn on

Hi Roice,

We suggest you to follow the below steps to make the tablet mode permanent:

• Click start and select settings.
• Select settings and then select tablet mode.
• Now you have different options to choose from, please choose settings that suits you.

HP Envy x360 goes into sleep mode whilst in tablet mode

I understand that your Hp Envy x360 goes into sleep mode when it is in tablet mode;

Initially I recommend that you download the HP Support Assistant app to update all your PC's drivers:

Run the Troubleshooter for Power;

Press Windows key + i and go to System;

Click on Troubleshooting and then on other troubleshooters;

Locate Power and click Run on the right to start troubleshooting;

Disable the "Rotation lock" function;

Press Windows key + i and go to System;

Click Video;

Disable the "rotation lock" function;

Note: the computer must be in tablet mode to disable the function;

Check if the problem has been fixed;

HP Envy x360 Won't Auto-Switch to Tablet Mode

We would like to clarify the current settings of your HP device. Kindly verify the following:

• Is the Tablet mode enabled in the Action Center? You can find this in the lower-right corner of your screen, beside the date and time.

• Can you provide us a
  screenshot of the current configuration of Tablet
  mode? Click the Start button, go to Settings >
  System > Tablet mode.

In the meantime, we advise updating your BIOS as well as the chipset driver of your HP laptop. You can download the necessary files from HP's support page.
