Windows 10: HP Laptop - After a clean installation of windows 10 - my home's WiFi SSID alone not...

I installed a clean copy of windows 10 using a USB drive on my HP laptop. I also formatted the disk as part of my installation.


All drivers were updated to the latest version using HP Support Assistant.

While other WiFi SSID are appearing in the list of networks, my very own home WiFi SSID is not showing up.

The SSID is not hidden. Broadcast is enabled.

I even did a WiFI router reset DLink DIR 825 and created a fresh configuration


My home Wifi's SSID is appearing on the other devices that I have mac book pro, iPhone and another Office Lenovo laptop in my home used by others


The other office Lenovo laptop also has windows 10 and my WiFi SSID is showing.


Only this HP Laptop alone is not showing my home's WiFI SSID but displaying others


Please help resolve this.

HP Stream 11 under Windows 10 - Touchpad not recognized.

Are you making sure you are trying the correct driver for the WiFi... They list Broadcom, Intel, and/or Realtek.

Also, try to run the installer as an administrator install.

If that fails... try extracting the files and manually install the driver.

Is it time for Windows 10 already?
