Windows 10: HP Laptop incredible slow after factory resetting

Good afternoon, Recently I decided to factory reset my laptop due to having malware. My laptop was faster previously prior to factory resetting with makes no sense. My laptop was faster while it had malware compared to being factory reset. I had thought factory resetting would have made it faster but clearly, it was faster beforehand. What can I do to solve the issue?

So, I factory reset my PC due to it becoming slow. I used the built-in factory reset feature. It's a Dell PC. It takes literal hours to get onto the desktop. The strangest thing is the fact that the computer runs incredibly smoothly in safe mode, but as
soon as I restart into normal windows, logging in takes up to half an hour. Please help me with this, as my computer is completely unusable

 

Resetting my HP laptop

Since it is a new HP laptop and you want to reset it, instead of using the Windows 10 Reset, why not use the HP Factory Restore application, it should be located on your Start Menu - the alphabetical list - scroll down to the HP suite of apps and look
for recovery . . .
