    HP Laptop microphone won't work with Microsoft Webcam


    I purchased a Microsoft webcam that plugs in by USB to my HP Laptop. Camera works fine, speakers work fine, but now the microphone won't work. Unplug camera and microphone works. Plug in camera and microphone doesn't work. Help!

    Skype webcam sound won't work

    Does any other microphone (like a gaming headset) work? If it does, then the webcam microphone is not working.

    HP laptop webcam stopped working, and driver problems

    On my HP for some reason the driver is always downloaded from microsoft by windows update!
    You should try to get the MS one I guess.

    Maybe you should try to update the driver manually or even choose :
    Let me pick from a list of available drivers on my computer and see if
    you can find it.
