Windows 10: HP Laptop starts freezing randomely when plugged in only

I have a problem with my HP 250 G7 laptop that starts freezing randomely when plugged on battery and everytime i run a game on it even sometimes when not plugged, at first when i bought it last year it was working well but since last 2 months this problem started occuring i thought the problem was the RAMs or maybe my HDD so i changed my ram sticks i bought another 8GB DDR4 RAM and an SSD but the problem was still happening i was thinking maybe its the battery that started failing but unfortunately its an integrated one so i cant test the laptop without it i tried many solutions for the same t

Random freezes or shut downs

Completely random freezing/shutdowns on a system with no recent hardware changes, and hard drive, memory, and PSU fine, usually means a software issue (file corruption or malicious software). I suggest following DavidV's recommendations.

- this suggests BIOS corruption or a hardware problem...
Whilst you might try flashing the BIOS (updating it may be necessary to run Win 10- witness your problem above), you also say you have access to it.
Do you hear any beeps or sounds?

Check the version of your BIOS vs that listed on HP's site for your laptop.

I'm also wondering if this might be related to your CMOS battery inside your laptop. (This should be a normal circular battery).

Sorry that's not how to create a bootable disk. All that disk is is data storage- as you just copied the files to it.

However, given the above, doing that isn't likely to help you I'm afraid.

 

Laptop Freezing Problem

For the past week I've been trying to figure out what could be causing my laptop to freeze. I have an HP Pavilion Dv6z 7000 with an A10-4600m, 7730m, and upgraded the ram from 6GB to 8GB back in January. The laptop is running Windows 8 Pro.

What happens is that I'll start up the laptop, and sometimes it'll freeze while logging me in, or after I've logged in. It's random when it happens. I could go an hour without trouble, or it could freeze as soon as I log in. If I happen to have the backlit keyboard on, it'll flicker just before it freezes. Before the freezing started, I had problems where the wifi would not be detected by the system, or the battery would not be detected.

I ran memtest86+ on the original ram the laptop came with and the new ram, and both sets passed. I ran the system diagnostics that hp has and passed all the tests. I tried refreshing Windows 8, and for a short while it would work until I restarted the computer. I've tried resetting Windows 8 with the same problem, and I've tried a clean install and still ran into the same problem.

I don't think it's heat, because coretemp shows that the cpu is nowhere near dangerous temperatures. I haven't found a program that will let me see the motherboard temps, so I can't comment on that. I also have the laptop on a Cooler Master U3.

What do you think it could be?
