Windows 10: HP Laptop stuck on Windows 10 Home version 1909

Hello,

I bought in last December/2020 a HP 250 G7 Laptop, a Intel I3-1005G1 CPU @ 1.20GHZ, and it came already with Win 10 Home 64 bit version 20H2. But this machine was not working properly and HP gave replaced by another HP Laptop exactly the same, and I received it now in January. However I noticed that the very same Win 10 Home 64 bit, is with version 1909, not the 20H2 that came with same laptop a month ago not even with 2004 version.


All updated are made and system updates does not proposes to update the windows version, I spoke with HP and they told me that 20H2 was being released and some pc's in this initial stage might not be eligible for compability issues, but that is not my case since I had the same laptop a month ago that came with 20H2, wonder even why this one now came with 1909, and not at least the 2004 version.


Is there something It cam be done to triger the update? Clicking on check updates will return with all up to date, please help.

Windows 10 Tweaks

Pressing “Windows+Pause Break” (it’s up there next to scroll lock) opens the “System” Window.

Windows 10: In the new version of Windows, Explorer has a section called Quick Access. This includes your frequent folders and recent files. Explorer defaults to opening this page when you open a new window. If you’d rather open the usual This PC, with links to your drives and library folders, follow these steps:

• Open a new Explorer window.
• Click View in the ribbon.
• Click Options.
• Under General, next to “Open File Explorer to:” choose “This PC.”
• Click OK

I would suggest you to take a backup of all your user data, after which you can try and perform the steps to

Free up drive space in Windows 10. Check if that helps.
