HP Laptop with Win 10 all SW updates - Does not "See-Recognize" New 3rd Patry WebcamFriends,My Win 10 laptop does not see-recognize my new 3rd party webcam - "IFPROO - Webcam A 1".The laptop has two 2 USB ports - I have tried both.I simply need to change the "Default" camera in MW Win 10 Settings to the new webcam.Note: This device does "not" need its own driver.Please help.Many thanks, Lawrence

I realize that webcam is not getting recognized on your HP laptop with Windows 10. I will try to help you with this issue.

Please answer these questions to get more clarity on this issue:

  Do you see the web cam listed in Device Manager?
  
• 
  Have you installed all pending updates and also updated all device drivers on the pc?
  
• 
  What is the error message you get while trying to access the webcam?
  

Suggest you to run the hardware troubleshooter and restart the computer to check if this helps.

  Press “Windows key + X” to click on “Control Panel”.
  
• 
  Click on “Troubleshooting” and click on “View all”.
  

Click on “Hardware and Devices” to run the troubleshooter. Once this is done, restart the computer and check if this helps.

Review Windows Update. The Windows Update service is a key item to review. Windows Update may have updated drivers available that may be relevant to your current issue. Many times, updated drivers are listed in the "Optional" section of Windows Update.
Install any pending updates on the pc to check if that helps.
