    HP laptop won't reset no matter what I do.


    I've been having trouble resetting this laptop for a while now, the problem initially started when I stupidly refused to clear space on my laptop when it asked me to. It began having issues such as; never keeping google or any other app open for more than a few minutes, then it would completely shut down or glitch out. I have removed every single thing I possibly can remove on that laptop, yet whenever I try to reset it, it continually asks me to clear out more desktop storage, but I cant because all the other storage is what keeps the laptop running. I literally have nothing else to delete o

    I would like to note that step 20 comes up with no files. Perhaps this could be the source of the issues?

    • Did you make any changes to your computer prior to this issue?

    Volume Mute Light won´t change color

    Which steps did you perform? Was this from a clean boot?
    Open administrative command prompt and type or copy and paste this command: shutdown /r /o /f /t 00
    It will boot to the recovery options or windows advanced troubleshooting menu.
    Click troubleshooting and click reset this computer. You will be saving files. Applications and programs will be removed. Windows will be reinstalled.
    Enter your windows logon password.
    You will see getting things ready with rotating dots.
    Click resetting this PC.
    It will then display the HP logo with resetting this PC with rotating dots and a percentage.
