Windows 10: HP laserjet 1012 printer

Discus and support HP laserjet 1012 printer in Windows 10 Software and Apps to solve the problem; I purchased a new desktop, a Dell Inspiron 3910 with Windows 10 or 11.     HP laserjet 1012 printer


    I purchased a new desktop, a Dell Inspiron 3910 with Windows 10 or 11. I can't seem to get my "old" printer to work with it. It shows up in my device settings but won't print a test page. I'm unable to locate drivers for it on Dell's website. Is my printer simply too old for compatibility with Windows 10 or 11? I last used this printer with Windows 7.

    How to print to hp LaserJet 1012 using Windows 10

    The HP3055 driver works great with Windows 10 and the hp Laserjet 1012. The driver comes with Windows 10 so there's no need to download it. In windows 10 Settings, select 'Add a Printer' and use the DOT4 port, then scan the list of HP printer drivers and select
    the HP3055.

    HP Laserjet 1012 shown in devices and not in printer.

    Just uploaded windows 10 and my LaserJet 1012 printer is connected via usb and is showing up in the devises and not printer. Any idea how to remedy this?
