Windows 10: HP Model 14 Cf-1015 will only connect to home wifi and won't even show any available wifi...

Like title says, i recently changed the battery on this ol girl and everything is going great except for it only shows available networks and connects to my home wifi. At school, it doesn't show any available networks for me to connect to, and I tried reinstalling drivers, a network reset in settings, and restarting computer, never got any luck. I come home and it connects again flawlessly. Anybody else ever experienced this?

Wifi list won´t show

my new aspire 5 all of a sudden stopped letting me open the wifi list, while i had the same provider it was allright but right now i have changed my provider and since i can´t see the available networks it doesn´t let me choose it.
I´ve already tried to update drivers, restart internet settings, save the new wifi mannualy to see if the computer could connect. but nothing provided results.
From what i can guess it looks like the problem is not in the connection, because i can connect in to my old wifi and also a ethernet cable but somethig is preventing the wifi list to appear.

 

My WiFi is suddenly not showing anymore in list of available WiFi

I have an HP Pavillion running Windows 10. Yesterday everything was still fine, I was connected to my WIFI ok. Today, I see a list of Wifi available but not mine.
When I connect directly to the modem, it is ok, but when on Wifi it shows all my neighbours but not mine. Other devices can find my Wifi without issues.
How can I get this working again, please?
