    HP officejet 4500 printer is not working after upgrading to Windows 10

    I have an HP OfficeJet 4500 all in one printer. Since I upgraded to windows 10 my scanner doesn't work. Any suggested fixes?

    HP Officejet 4500

    I recently updated my computer to Windows 10 and now my HP Officejet 4500 is no longer recognized by my computer. I downloaded HP Support Assistant to try to update drivers but it gets stuck at 98%. I'm not too technically proficient in computers but if
    anyone could point me in the right direction or give me some step by step instructions on what to look for I'd really appreciate it. If you need any other information about my problem I'll gladly provide it.

    Win 10 does not recognize HP Officejet 4500

    Hi,

    Thank you for posting in the Microsoft Community.

    This issue might occur, when the driver is not updated properly.

    I would suggest you to download the latest driver HP Officejet 4500 from the manufacturer’s website and try installing it.
