Windows 10: Hp omen 16 wd0880tx sleep s3 fan started spinning fast after sleep mode

i have a sleep mode issue, iam facing for the past few weeks because i was using s0modern standby in that i have only balanced mode to create custom power plan like higher performance, batter saver... i have to switch it to s3 traditional after switching i have configured everything to sleep. after closing and opening my lid after a while 7sec my fans started to spin rapidly 6000rpm only way to power on my lap is to hold the power button to restart it. idk whats the causing issues? please give a solution that would be helpful

Windows 11 PC Sleep Mode Issue: Unresponsive Wake-Up and Fast-Spinning Fans

I am encountering a problem with my Windows 11 PC where it fails to wake up from sleep mode. The only solution I've found to turn it back on is by manually switching off the power supply and then switching it back on. Additionally, I've noticed that as soon as I initiate sleep mode, my computer's fans start spinning at a high speed. This issue began occurring randomly, and I have not made any recent updates or changes to my system.

Troubleshooting Steps Taken So Far:

1. Checked for Windows Updates: I ensured that my Windows 11 is up to date with the latest updates and patches.
   
2. Driver Updates: I have also verified that all my device drivers are up to date.
   
3. Power Settings: I reviewed and adjusted my power settings
   
4. Enabled & Disabled Fast Startup and Hibernate
   

 

My computer's "Sleep after X" sleep is deeper than manual sleep

With Sleep after X minutes, all fans shut down. A mouse click or key press is required to wake the system. This is ideal.

When I manually sleep via the start menu, fans stay on and mouse movement wakes the system.

powercfg -a lists this:

Standby (S3)

Hibernate

Fast Startup

Automatic hibernation is off, only sleep is on in power settings.

I'm on 16299

So, my question is, how do I manually put my computer into this deeper sleep state?

 

Not entering sleep properly,- fan spin and led lights on.

Got an issue, sometimes when entering sleep mode windows and the pc (intel nuc) continue the normal procedure but seems to miss the last step.

Instead of turning off the power button led it stays on, also the fan spins. Then the only way to turn it on is to hold in the power button and hard reset.

Any ideas?
