Windows 10: HP P19A Monitor not detected in Windows 10

I recently bought a new HP P19A monitor. When I plug it into my WIndows 10 based PC it is not detected. I have updated Windows, changed the cable, tried the trouble shooter, tried manual detect. No change. Is the monitor even supported in Windows 10? Thanks.

If still the issue persist, try to uninstall and reinstall the display drivers and check if that helps.

Follow these steps to uninstall graphics drivers.

• Press Windows key + X and select Device Manager.
• Search for Display Adapters and expand it.
• Right click on the display driver and select
  Uninstall.

Now download the updated drivers from the manufacturer’s website and install it.

Windows 10 Not Detecting 2nd Monitor

this recommendation is useless. I followed every step and the troubleshooter said no problems detected. When I had Windows 8.1 I was able to simply plug in my monitor (HannsG 28") via micro HDMI port and it was able to detect it. But Windows 10 does not detect
my second monitor. The system just does not see it.
